Below is the quick update on Yelena's latest releases:

Cold Sun,” (released in April 2010) with Danish double-bassist Mads Vinding and legendary American drummer Peter Erskine. ("Cold Sun" was in Warren Allen's list "Best releases of 2010")

Grass Catching the Wind” (released in July 2010) with the Danish team of Mads Vinding on double-bass and Morten Lund on drums.

“Flying Steps” (released in December 2010) with renowned Polish-American bassist Darek Oleszkiewicz and Peter Erskine on drums.

"Forget-me-not," CD was recorded on August 17 & 18 of 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark, with Yelena on piano, Norwegian double-bassist Mats Eilertsen and acclaimed Danish percussionist Marilyn Mazur on drums. It was released on February 20 of 2012 and was charting among the top 10 and top 40 on CMJ jazz radio worldwide for 10 weeks.

2013 release, "Glass Song," was recorded on March 16 & 17 of 2012 in Los Angeles, California, with Yelena on piano, great Norwegian double-bassist Arild Andersen and Peter Erskine on drums. It was released on February 19 of 2013 and has been among the best sellers in avant-garge jazz on Amazon.com. It made several lists as one of the best jazz releases of the year 2013.

Tune in for a 2014 release, "A Touch of Radiance," recorded on May 12 & 13 of 2014 in New York's Avatar Studios, with Yelena on piano, Mark Turner on tenor saxophone, Joe Locke on vibraphone, George Mraz on double bass and Billy Hart on drums. It was released on August 12, 2014, at the Jazz Standard NYC, 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM sets.

The spring 2015 release, doble CD, "Lions," was recorded in March 2013 in New York, NY, with Yelena on piano, Arild Andersen on bass and Billy Hart on drums. The Lions Trio performed at Birdland Jazz Club, NYC, on March 26th, 2013. This peformance will be released on Blu-Ray video in 2016. The double CD, "Lions," was release in April 2015 with performances in London, UK, at Ronnie Scott's on April 18th and at The Spice of Life on April 19th, 2015.

On August 21st, 2015, L & H Production presented "Everblue" - a new Yelena Eckemoff Quartet featuring Tore Brunborg on tenor and soprano saxophones, Arild Andersen on double bass and Jon Christensen on drums. This album was released on CD on August 21st, 2015. In the fall of 2015 it was also released on vinyl and HD formats. It was recorded at Rainbow Studio in Oslo, Norway, by Jan Erik Kongshaug, on September 25 26, 2014. May 13, 2016 release was "Leaving Everything Behind" CD, featuring Mark Feldman on violin, Ben Street on double bass, and Billy Hart on drums. It was recorded by James Farber at Sear Sound Studios, NYC, on September 1 - 2, 2015. Watch the album trailer on YouTube: https://youtu.be/e2M5z6YMB0w. The CD release performance was on May 26th, 6 PM show, at Birdland Jazz Club, NYC.

Tune up for the new record coming out on January 20, 2017, "Blooming Tall Phlox" CD, featuring Verneri Pohjola on trumpet and flugelhorn, Panu Savolainen on vibraphone, Antti Lotjonen on double bass, and Olavi Louhivuori on drums and percussion. 28 page color booklet contains session photos as well as original painting and poems by author.
